Abstract

This research aimed to know the level of cyber-bullying and moral thinking among secondary school students in the Jazan Education Department, in addition to the differences in them that may be attributed to the gender variable (male and female), as well as knowing the type of correlation between them. Where the two research tools consisted of a measure of electronic bullying, and another for moral reasoning prepared by the researcher, according to a sample of secondary school students in the Jazan Education Department, which numbered (381) male and female students. The results showed that the level of electronic bullying was low, while the level of moral reasoning was the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) attributed to the gender variable in cyberbullying and moral thinking between male and female students. The research also found an inverse (negative) correlation between the level of bullying and the level of moral thinking among the research sample. Therefore, the research recommends the necessity of directing the Department of Educational Curriculum Development at the Ministry of Education to work on developing school programs, especially preventive programs, to face the problems posed by the spread of various Internet applications and technologies in general and social networking applications in particular, including cyberbullying.

الملخص

هدف البحث إلى تعرف مستوى التنمر الإلكتروني والتفكير الأخلاقي لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بإدارة تعليم جازان، بالإضافة إلى الفروق فيهما والتي قد تعزي إلى متغير الجنس (طلاب، طالبات)، وكذلك معرفة نوع العلاقة الارتباطية بينهما، ولتحقيق ذلك تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي بنوعيه المسحي والارتباطي؛ حيث تثملت أداتي البحث في مقياس للتنمر الإلكتروني، وآخر للتفكير الأخلاقي من إعداد الباحثة، طُبقا على عينة من طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بإدارة تعليم جازان بلغ عددها (381) طالب وطالبة، وقد أسفرت النتائج عن أن مستوى التنمر الإلكتروني جاء منخفضًا، بينما جاء مستوى التفكير الأخلاقي مرتفعًا، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) تعزي لمتغير الجنس في التنمر الإلكتروني والتفكير الأخلاقي بين الطلاب والطالبات، كذلك توصل البحث إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية (سالبة) بين مستوى التنمر ومستوى التفكير الأخلاقي لدى عينة البحث؛ لذا يوصي البحث بضرورة توجيه إدارة تطوير المناهج التعليمية بوزارة التعليم إلى العمل على تطوير البرامج المدرسية وبخاصة الوقائية لمواجهة المشكلات التي يفرضها انتشار تطبيقات وتقنيات الإنترنت المختلفة بشكل عام وتطبيقات التواصل الاجتماعي بشكل خاص والتي من بينها التنمر الإلكتروني
