Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the educational role of teachers of Islamic studies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in developing students' awareness of combating electronic terrorism, in addition to identifying the obstacles that hinder the realization of this role from the teachers' point of view. In order to achieve this goal, the descriptive survey approach was used, and the questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. The research community was represented in all teachers of Islamic studies in Taif Governorate, and a random sample of (295) male and female teachers was selected from among them. The results showed that teachers of Islamic studies play their role to a very large extent in developing students' awareness of combating electronic terrorism. The results also showed that the most important obstacles facing Islamic studies teachers in performing their role are the lack of administrative guidance, their lack of cognitive, technical and communication skills, and the weak content of the curriculum on the topic of combating electronic terrorism. The results also showed that there were differences between the sample members in the performance of their role according to the job variable (type) in favor of the female teachers, and according to the educational degree variable in favor of bachelor’s and graduate studies, and according to the experience variable in favor of those with experience that ranged between 6 to 15 years. In light of these results, the research recommended the necessity of meeting the training needs of male and female teachers, and allocating topics on combating electronic terrorism in Islamic studies courses in public education.

الملخص

هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على مستوى الدور التربوي لمعلمي ومعلمات الدراسات الإسلامية بالمملكة العربية السعودية في تنمية وعي طلبتهم لمكافحة الإرهاب الإلكتروني، بالإضافة إلى تحديد المعيقات التي تعيق تحقيق هذا الدور من وجهة نظر المعلمين. ولأجل تحقيق هذا الهدف تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات. وتمثل المجتمع البحثي في جميع معلمي ومعلمات الدراسات الإسلامية بمحافظة الطائف، وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية قوامها (295) معلمًا ومعلمة منهم. وقد جاءت النتائج تبين أن معلمي ومعلمات الدراسات الإسلامية يقومون بدورهم بدرجة كبيرة جدًا في تنمية وعي طلبتهم لمكافحة الإرهاب الإلكتروني. كما بيّنت النتائج أن أهم المعيقات التي تواجه معلمي ومعلمات الدراسات الإسلامية في أداء دورهم تتمثل في نقص التوجيه الإداري، ونقص المهارات المعرفية والتقنية ومهارات التواصل لديهم، وضعف محتوى المنهج حول موضوع مكافحة الإرهاب الإلكتروني بشكل صريح. كما بيّنت النتائج وجود فروق بين أفراد العينة في أداء دورهم تبعا لمتغير (النوع) لصالح المعلمات، وتبعا لمتغير الدرجة العلمية لصالح درجة البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا، وتبعا لمتغير الخبرة لصالح أصحاب الخبرة التي تقع ما بين 6 إلى 15 سنة. وفي ضوء تلك النتائج فقد أوصى البحث بضرورة تلبية الاحتياجات التدريبية للمعلمين والمعلمات، وتخصيص موضوعات تتناول مكافحة الإرهاب الإلكتروني مباشرة في مقررات الدراسات الإسلامية بالتعليم العام.
