Abstract

The Effectiveness of a Proposed Educational Unit Based on Productive Education in Developing Productive Concepts and Skills in the Subject of Social Studies among Third-Year Intermediate Female Students in Makkah Abstract The current research aims to measure the effectiveness of a proposed educational unit based on productive education in developing productive concepts and skills in the subject of social studies among third-year intermediate female students in Makkah. The research has adopted descriptive analytical and the quasi-experimental approach with a single group design. It has adopted the descriptive analytical approach to create lists of productive concepts and skills, then preparing a proposed educational unit based on productive education in the subject of social studies, and creating the two study tools (The cognitive achievement test of productive concepts, and the measure of productive skills), and ensuring their validity and reliability. The two study tools were applied, before and after, on the study sample consisting of (32) third-year intermediate female students in Makkah for the first semester of the academic year 1444-1445H (2022-2023G), where one of the intermediate schools in Makkah was chosen randomly. The data was analyzed statistically using the Statistical Package for the Social Studies (SPSS), to calculate arithmetic means and standard deviations, the t-test for the correlated sample, and the Pearson correlation coefficient to calculate the values of the post-cognitive achievement test and the post-productive skills measure to know the correlation, and the value of (Eta Squared) was calculated to calculate the size of the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit. Findings of the Research: The presence of statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the average scores of the female students at the study group in the pre- and post-applications in the cognitive achievement test of productive concepts and skills measure in favor of the post-application. It also confirmed the existence of a strong, statistically significant direct correlation at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between the post-cognitive achievement test and the post-productive skills measure, amounting to (0.83). It also demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed unit based on productive education in developing productive concepts and skills in the subject of social studies among third-year intermediate school female students in Makkah. The impact factor of the Eta square was respectively (0.88-0.93). Recommendations of the Research: Including the proposed educational unit based on productive education in developing productive concepts and skills in the subject of social studies for the third-grade intermediate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the necessity of using and employing different learning environments in developing the cognitive aspects of concepts and productive skills among the female students.

الملخص

فاعلية وحدة تعليمية مقترحة قائمة على التربية الإنتاجية في تنمية المفاهيم والمهارات الإنتاجية في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية لدى طالبات الصف الثالث المتوسط في مدينة مكة المكرمة مستخلص الدراسة باللغة العربية هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى قياس فاعلية وحدة تعليمية مقترحة قائمة على التربية الإنتاجية في تنمية المفاهيم والمهارات الإنتاجية في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية لدى طالبات الصف الثالث المتوسط في مدينة مكة المكرمة ولتحقيق ذلك، اتبعت الدراسة كل من المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والمنهج شبه التجريبي ذو تصميم المجموعة الواحدة، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في بناء قائمة المفاهيم الإنتاجية وقائمة المهارات الإنتاجية ثم إعداد وحدة تعليمية مقترحة قائمة على التربية الإنتاجية في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية، وبناء أداتي الدراسة (اختبار التحصيل المعرفي للمفاهيم الإنتاجية، ومقياس المهارات الإنتاجية)، والتأكد من صدقها وثباتها، وقد تم تطبيق أداتي الدراسة قبلياً وبعدياً على عينة الدراسة المكونة من (32) طالبة من طالبات الصف الثالث المتوسط في مدينة مكة المكرمة للفصل الدراسي الأول للعام الدراسي 1444-1445هـ (2022-2023م)، حيث تم اختيار إحدى المدارس المتوسطة في مدينة مكة المكرمة عشوائياً، وتم تحليل البيانات إحصائياً باستخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية (spss)، وذلك لحساب المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية، واختبار (ت) للعينة المرتبطة، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون لحساب قيم الاختبار التحصيلي المعرفي البعدي ومقياس المهارات الانتاجية البعدي لمعرفة العلاقة الارتباطية، وجرى حساب قيمة (ايتا تربيع) لحساب حجم الفاعلية للوحدة التعليمية المقترحة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة: وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى الدلالة الإحصائية (α ≤ 0,05) بين متوسطي درجات طالبات مجموعة الدراسة في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي في اختبار التحصيل المعرفي للمفاهيم الانتاجية ومقياس المهارات الإنتاجية لصالح التطبيق البعدي، كما أكدت على وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية قوية دالة احصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0,05) بين الاختبار التحصيلي المعرفي البعدي ومقياس المهارات الانتاجية البعدي بلغت (0.83)، كذلك أثبتت فاعلية للوحدة المقترحة القائمة على التربية الانتاجية في تنمية المفاهيم والمهارات الانتاجية في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية لدى طالبات الصف الثالث المتوسط في مدينة مكة المكرمة وبلغ معامل التأثير لمربع ايتا على التوالي (0.88-0.93)، وبناء على نتائج الدراسة قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها: تضمين الوحدة التعليمية المقترحة القائمة على التربية الإنتاجية في تنمية المفاهيم والمهارات الانتاجية في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية للصف الثالث المتوسط في المملكة العربية السعودية، وضرورة استخدام وتوظيف بيئات التعلم المختلفة في تنمية الجوانب المعرفية للمفاهيم والمهارات الانتاجية لدى الطلبة.
